I have gone to Publix quite a few times in the last 3 days and have done alot of shopping. I have only paid for $48.06 for $498.68 worth of groceries. This means, I have saved $450.62!!!

I will try and break this last shopping trio down so you can see how I saved money:

On this last shopping trip I used manufacturer coupons, Publix store coupons and Target coupons (because most Publix stores will accept them as a competitor coupon).

  • The razors are $5.49 and are currently B1G1 Free…we have $3 coupons for them so I gave them 2 coupons (($6 off) -since I am technically buying 2 items. So in that case, I earned $0.51 per every 2…so that helped reduce the cost of the other items.
  • The Infusium is priced at $5.99…we have a $3 coupon, I used 2 ($6 off) – Publix has its own coupon that when you buy 1 infusium shampoo, you get the infusium conditioner for FREE – so they deduct $5.99…so those items were FREE.
  • The oscar meyer hot dogs are priced at $3.99 and they are B1G1 Free. I had (2) $1.00 off of 2 coupons and a Target coupon for B2G1 Free…so they deducted $2 for the manufacturer coupons and $3.99 for the target coupon, so I payed $2.00 for 4 packs of hotdogs).
  • The Kraft singles are $2.99 and are B1G1 Free, I used a Target coupon that deducted $1.50 for 2 kraft products.
  • The cool whips are $1.49 and are B1G1 free, I bought 4 because I have a target coupon for B2G1 Free, so they deducted $1.49 (because I bought 4)…so I got 4 for $1.49.
  • The breakstone sourcream is priced at $0.99 and I had a $0.55 coupon.
  • The Lipton Onion packets: I had a Publix coupon for $0.75 off of 2 boxes.
  • The Pickles are priced at $2.99 each and are B1G1 Free plus there is a coupon hanging on most bottles for $0.55/1 – so I used 2 of them.

I had a coupon for everything except the bananas…If you go to Publix under store deals, it tells you what’s on sale and what coupons you can use. It’s really that simple.

So if you are wondering if coupons are worth the time & effort, the answer is without a doubt YES!!!

My Savings: $21.15 for $100.72 worth of Groceries

My shopping trip to Publix was a success!!! I purchased $100.72 worth of groceries and only paid $21.15…how did I do this you ask? I combined my manufacturer & store coupons with Store specials (mostly B1G1 Free Deals).

Keep in mind that when an item is B1G1 Free you are able to use 2 coupons, since you are technically purchasing 2 items.

$100.72 Value of combined Groceries
-41.09 B1G1 Free Offers
-30.98 Manufacturer Coupons
-7.50 Store Coupons
= $21.15 OOP

I had a $5 off of $50 Publix coupon I used..I also tend to save any Free Item Coupons for coupons like this because it helps me get to my Total #, so I can get the discount plus I get that item for Free. Making it a win-win!

My Savings: $48.66 for $139.10 worth of groceries!

So I ventured out to Winn Dixie yesterday (since I had a Winn Dixie $10 off of $50 coupon I had received for shopping there on Easter). This is a great coupon and I didn’t want to miss out.

It’s really all about combining coupons and deals to make it work out to where you get the most you can get for as little as possible…My goal was to get to $50, so I could use the coupon without spending alot of money. Honestly, I wasn’t as prepared as I normally would have been but I had been out of town and my coupons weren’t as organized as they normally are (don’t hold this against me-lol) and me waiting until the last day to use the coupon did not help!

This being the case, I decided to purchase items for a play date we are hosting this weekend and items I needed that I know typically have no coupons. I also used a raincheck for Dulcolax because it had been on sale for $2.99 and I had (2) $4 coupons & (4) $3 coupons…plus I had a coupon that if I bought the Dulcolax I would get a gallon of water for FREE (for each one).

So..I happen to have had 2 of these special Winn Dixie coupons , so I did 2 transactions:

1st Transaction:

$61.95 Initial Total Due
- $11.28 Reward Card savings
-$10.00 Winn Dixie $10 off of $50 coupon
-28.14 Manufacturer Coupons
= $12.53

2nd Transaction:

$77.15 Initial Total Due
- $25.02 Reward Card savings
-$10.00 Winn Dixie $10 off of $50 coupon
-6.00 Manufacturer Coupons
= $36.13

So between both transactions, I spent $48.66 and I received $139.10 worth of groceries!

I would love to hear about your shopping trip savings, simply email me! This is a great way to motivate one another when couponing seems to be overwhelming or life seems to get in the way!
